    Last week a post on instagram caught my eye. During July, the British Heart Foundation are running a competition called the Big Stitch. Basically, the idea is to find something in one of their stores, buy it (obviously) and then customise it and make it something new. I’ve never really upcycled, but I love the idea of repurposing something old into something new and lovely. As a family we are trying very hard to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible, so this fits in very nicely. I’m hopeful that this challenge will spur me on to upcycle other…
